Sauna benefits
Sauna sweating has been proven to help you relax and detoxify your body. It will leave your skin glowing and clean as the increased circulation draw’s your skin’s natural nutrients to the surface. The infrared radiant heat of a Clearlight® infrared sauna warms three times as deep as conventional saunas. Infrafred heat can help to relieve inflammation, stiffness and soreness by increasing blood circulation to relax your muscles.
It is also effective more specifically in the treatment of sprains, neuralgia, bursitis, muscle spasms, and many other muscular-skeletal ailments.
Regular use of a sauna imparts a similar boost on the cardiovascular system to running*. As you relax in the gentle infrared heat, your body is hard at work producing sweat, pumping blood and burning calories. A 30-minute session can burn somewhere between 250 calories or more.
Infrared sauna therapy can help keep blood pressure normal, lower cholesterol levels and reduce chronic pain.**
Our sauna includes chromatherapy, the science of using wavelengths of colour light to affect your body and mind for improved health and happiness. There are 15 LED lights in an array of 6 colours, green, red, yellow, turquoise and violet. Each different colour can have a positive effect on your mind and body. It can help you relax, so your body can heal and rejuvenate.

Booking a sauna
Our infrared sauna rejuvenates, renews and restores relaxation.
- Available for one or two people
- Our sauna sessions are 45 minutes in total, allowing ample time for a 30 minute sauna, and to shower and change
- The sauna is exclusive and private to you, with its own en-suite shower
A private 45-minute sauna session for two is £30 now £25 per session, for one it’s £25 now £20 a session.
Towels
For your own comfort and the sake of the environment, please bring your own towel to use after your shower.
Age
Minimum age is 12. 12–16-year-olds must be accompanied by their legally responsible parent or guardian.
Pacemakers
If you wear a pacemaker, please check with your consultant before using an infrared sauna such as ours.

Towels

Makeup, hair and tanning products
Please never enter the pool wearing makeup or any products capable of colouring or tainting the pool water, including non-permanent or recently applied hair colouring or tints, or tanning products. It’s best to arrive without makeup on, rather than try to clean it off in the floatation suite. This is important as any of these products can contaminate the water, requiring the pool to be closed, drained, cleaned and refilled: an expensive, time-consuming process that can cost up to £1,000!
Alcohol or drugs
You should never use the floatation pool under the influence of alcohol or drugs with a sedative effect.
